Lee’s Testimony
In late 1994 a notice was displayed in our church youth group about a diocesan youth exchange with Argentina. I knew nothing of the place and had never desired to go there but I put my name down anyway and the following summer off I went to Argentina.
It turned out to be nothing short of a life changing experience and I have been going back there ever since.

I have been involved with the church in various places around Argentina, in Buenos Aires, Cordoba Mendoza, the Wichi Indian communities in the north, Salta and Jujuy.
I have learnt Argentina's main language, Spanish and some Qechua. Also, I have learnt much about their culture and married a girl, Nilda, from Jujuy. the most north west province and also the poorest. Culturally it is closer to Bolivia than to Argentina. This has been our focused area of mission over the last few years.
I love the term “inextricably intertwined” I feel that this sums up Argentina and me.
